Family Farm and Home, a 19-outlet Michigan farm store chain catering to farming and rural lifestyles, opened their Greenville store on Friday. Family Farm and Home’s headquarters is in Muskegon.
Lexi Schank was raised on a small family farm near Arcadia, Wis. Her daily tasks included feeding calves, administering animal vaccinations, and driving tractors during harvest season.

Family Farm and Home is a nationwide retail chain offering outdoor equipment like tools, hardware, automotive supplies, work casual clothing and footwear, pet food for livestock (pigs, goats, sheep, and horses), lawn and garden products, and alternative heating. Family Farm and Home operates 19 outlets in Michigan and stores in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland West Virginia.
Family Farm plans to open its new store in Dalton Township at Holton Road by the end of this month and has purchased a three-story office building at Third Street and Morris Avenue in Muskegon where its 20 employee central offices will relocate – an act which Even & Frank attorney Kevin Even said will help revitalize Hume Office complex.
Austin Semarjian of Colliers International confirmed the lease.
Store Hours
Family Farm and Home will open this year at its Streetsboro location on state Route 14, according to Austin Semarjian from Industrial Commercial Properties’ Acquisitions and Leasing division. According to Austin, Family Farm and Home signed a 30,000-square-foot lease. They sell outdoor products such as tools, hardware, and automotive supplies; alternative heating systems; pet, work casual clothing; and footwear. Horse feed, lawn garden equipment supplies, and alternative fuel power generation – selling their retail chain in Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, serving predominantly customers from Central Western United States regions of US customers.
