Our tester came with the $1,190 Luxury package that adds heated and ventilated front seats, Climate Concierge (essentially automatic climate control that works with heated and cooled seat settings to improve driver and passenger comfort better), and higher quality leather with contrast stitching.
The interior of the LX 570 is as luxurious as it gets in this segment. Leather lines the seats and door panels, while every switch and button moves with a weight that imbues a feeling of quality.
There are a variety of standard features to enjoy, too. These include the Lexus Safety System+ with forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.
If you’re looking to go off-roading, you can use a multi-terrain selector to maximize traction and performance for five off-road conditions. Using a combination of automatic throttle and brake adjustments, the air suspension will raise the LX to three inches if necessary to gain ground clearance.
Safety
The 2020 Lexus LX 570 shares its platform with the Toyota Land Cruiser, which means this SUV can handle serious off-roading. It also features 8.9 inches of ground clearance, low-speed crawl control, and multi-terrain select drive modes.
However, it’s also a hefty vehicle that won’t be easy to maneuver in tight spaces and over curved roads. Its steering heft and highway tracking are adequate, but the body roll is too much, and the ride quality can be harsh.
Inside, the Lexus lx 570 is luxurious and well-equipped. It has plenty of comfort features and an infotainment system that isn’t advanced but is functional enough to make long drives easier.
