The Underground Pizza Towson and Power Plant Live in Baltimore

Weinstein created Detroit-style pizza pop-up shops as an interim measure to fill an event venue, Moonrise Festival, that had to close due to the coronavirus outbreak after his concert venue had to cancel due to coronavirus concerns. These new locations represent another rapid expansion for his company.

These new restaurants will provide slices and whole pies, like “The Woodlands,” featuring hen of the woods mushrooms, Gruyere cheese, and thyme.

An urban pizza restaurant has been doing exceptionally well during this pandemic, thanks to orders at Power Plant Live and other venues around the Baltimore city center. Evan Weinstein attributes his success to a combination of social media presence, fresh ingredients, and round-the-clock security at Power Plant Live; proximity to office buildings and attractions also contribute to customer success – his business has sold 2,000 pies weekly since opening up shop there!
